Are you and your partner feeling more disconnected or distant than you'd like?

Maybe you feel a growing distance between you and your partner, as if you're just moving through life together but have lost that spark. Perhaps you're caught in a loop, having the same argument over and over, or you simply feel misunderstood—like your partner just isn’t hearing you, or even seeing you. You’re not sure how you ended up here. Things may not have always been easy, but they never used to be this hard. You know you love each other, but you’re starting to wonder if this is how it will always be. You’re feeling stuck, frustrated and afraid. Nothing you’ve tried so far has worked.

Whatever it is that you’re experiencing, you’re beginning to notice the impact of this in every facet of your life:

  • The constant tension in your relationship feels like it’s never-ending, leaving you emotionally exhausted.

  • You might be feeling isolated or even lonely, as if you and your partner are simply coexisting rather than truly connecting.

  • You may be struggling with insecurities, feeling unlovable or like your emotional needs aren’t being met.

  • There could be a growing sense of disconnection, with lack of intimacy leaving you feeling distant from your partner in ways that hurt.

  • You might feel drained and demotivated, as the emotional strain affects your energy and enthusiasm in other parts of your life.

  • The anxiety and uncertainty about the future seem to be growing, leaving you wondering if things will ever feel stable or whole again.

Couples Therapy can help.

I know how overwhelming this can feel. It’s hard when it feels like your relationship struggles are seeping into every area of your life. But these feelings don't define you, and there are ways to find your way back to a place of connection and peace. And I can help you get there.

Couples Therapy will help you:

  • Go beyond what is happening to understand why these patterns keep emerging, so you can finally change them

  • Feel heard, seen and understood - and know that your partner does as well

  • Gain clarity around your needs and desires

  • Rebuild the trust in your relationship

  • Create healthy boundaries while maintaining the closeness in your relationship

  • Improve your communication and learn how to navigate conflict fairly and effectively

  • Reclaim your connection and intimacy, and bring some lightness back into your time together

How it works

Therapy for couples is focused on helping you learn to navigate the inherent complexities of partnership. The fact is relationships take work, but that work does not need to feel so hard.

We come to our relationships with a lifetime of stuff. Expectations about ourselves, our partners, and about how relationships should work. And much of this is unconscious. Using trauma-informed psychodynamic and attachment therapy methods, we will uncover and unpack what each of you individually is bringing to the relationship (both strengths and challenges). This not only helps to deepen understanding and empathy, it allows you to make conscious choices about what you want your relationship to be.

I’ll help you create a new way of being with each other. You’ll learn to more quickly identify your triggers and patterns, improve your communication, better self-regulate and support your partner through co-regulation.

The process of therapy is itself an opportunity to be heard, seen and witnessed by your partner. And I will help you get there. Through this experience you will begin to reestablish trust and intimacy, and rebuild the connection that brought you together.

It’s time to deepen your understanding and strengthen your foundation.
